Travel Tips

Read Your Itinerary Carefully
Review your itinerary thoroughly before travel and ask questions before the trip or during scheduled calls. Print a copy and bring it with you.

Passport Validity
Your passport must have at least 6 months remaining from your travel date.

Travel Insurance
Optional but strongly recommended.

Do Your Research
Learn local customs and laws before traveling. Amor & Away Travel Co. is not liable for actions that violate foreign laws.

Currency
Convert money to local currency. You can do this directly through your bank before travel.

Tipping
Tipping goes a long way and is appreciated. We recommend setting aside money to tip drivers and tour guides.

Hotel Check In Times
Standard check in is 3–4 PM worldwide. Early check in is a courtesy, not a guarantee.

Double Rooms Abroad
Outside the U.S., “double rooms” usually mean twin beds, not two queen beds. Beds can often be separated.

Read All Emails
If asked about dietary restrictions, respond promptly. If you don’t specify, you’ll receive the standard meal provided.

Water Safety
In destinations where tap water is unsafe, do not drink it or use it to brush your teeth. Use bottled water instead.

Phone

If you do not have an international pass added to your service, considering downloading an app like WhatsApp to keep in contact with friends and family.

Pack Light
Avoid over packing and use packing cubes or vacuum bags.

Practice Patience Abroad
Other countries operate differently from the U.S. Be respectful, mindful of noise, and remember everyone is on vacation—cultural sensitivity goes a long way.

Kindness
Be kind. You’re a guest in another city, state, country, and kindness always goes further than you think.
